Savannah Grace at 8 months

Sweet Savannah...

Savannah Grace...
You are 8 months old. It feels like yesterday when I saw your tiny face for the first time. Thinking back over the quick passage of these past 8 months makes me wish I would have done more to capture and document each precious day. But here we are...8 months old! You are a tiny little thing but very fiesty. You have lost most of your hair and what's left has an auburn shine in the sunlight. Your eyes are a bright and beautiful light blue with long eyelashes like Daddy and your brothers. There are 4 tiny white teeth when you smile. You are a mommys girl through and through but you also adore your daddy, whenever he leans close to talk or sing to you,you reach out to place your hand on his face. You are a true princess in our house of princes- you are Aidens 'sissy', Nathan's 'little lady', and Brendan's 'little miss'. All of your brothers adore you. You like to sit up like a big girl and when you tolerate being put on your tummy you will scoot around a little. But your favorite place to be is in someones arms! You love to dance whenever you hear music or singing or just someone saying 'dance baby'. I love how you lay your little head close against me and how you get excited in your crib when you hear my voice enter the room. I melt when you make your scrunched nose/open mouth smile- I consider that your 'mommy smile' because you do it whenever I pick you up. Kisses and tongue clicks are how you speak... And of course 'da-da'. I am sure I've heard some 'ma-ma's' but maybe I'm just hopeful! You are quite a demanding little diva and you have the loudest cry ever but I don't mind! You sleep 12 hours at night and usually wake twice to nurse. You enjoy eating solid food, which we specially prepare to help you gain weight. You enjoy yogurt, oatmeal, pears, plums, bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes, egg yolk, peas, lentils, green beans, broccoli, carrots, and squash.
Each and every day I give thanks to God for blessing us with such a precious daughter. You are a dream come true
